Periphery – Racecar – Full song cover

Here’s my cover of the absolute masterpiece that is Racecar by Periphery, a few slip ups but its hard to get a 15 minute song perfect haha. Hope you guys enjoy. I uploaded this earlier today but the clean tone came out too quiet so I redid it just to make it more audible. No post effects were added, this is just the raw recorded video volume pedal used on the Pod XT Live to do the fade ins and out. Some parts were learnt by ear, others learnt thanks to SEBON3254’s tab on Ultimate Guitar, you can check ou this cover here : Guitar is a Schecter Omen 7 Extreme with Dimarzio Crunch Lab 7(bridge) and Liquifire pickups (neck). Pod XT live used for tone, recorded through analogue output (not USB), sound monitored with M-Audio BX5a speakers. Been playing for near 5 years. Tuning is Bb,Db, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb,Eb. 9-54 gauge strings used. If you like the tones I used in this video and have a Pod XT or possibly Pod X3, subscribe me and send me a private message with your e-mail address ill send you the patches. I’m also happy to answer any other questions about recording etc. I might consider doing little video lessons on parts of the song if I get enough requests for them. Alex Verghese on FB
