Info: With Roots Above and Branches Below was an album that made me both love TDWP as a band, and really recognise Joey Sturgis as a producer. I remember rushing to the store to buy the cd, and after listening for 20 seconds I was instantly in love. Unfortunately, TDWP’s newer album called Zombie, although fun, just didn’t have the spark that this album has in my personal opinion. Techniques/Tips: – Fairly easy to play, just keep it tight in the breakdowns with palm muting and have a loose hand when playing octaves in the chorus and outro.
